Lite mer till räkorna hade varit gott. Mindre och mindre räkor i skålarna som bars in. Och nu började de vara frysta i skålen. Annars trevlig personal och alltid härligt åka båt.

An excellent way to spend several hours. This tour takes you right out through the archipelago to the beautiful island of Sandhamn where you are offered a short walking tour before having over an hour of personal recreation time. The food and drinks served on the boat were delicious and the friendly staff were professional and knowledgeable. Our guide Elisabeth was awesome, both funny and informative. On the boat we had meatballs, salmon with apple pie and Panna cotta for dessert. For drinks we had Cava, Irish coffees and some hot chocolates, all of which were very good. The toilets are spotless and brightly lit.

Croisière exceptionnelle par son trajet, les commentaires, le service à bord et sa destination !
Rapport qualité prix excellent, pour une journée agréable et enrichissante et visiter une île de Sandhamn magnifique en passant par un chemin qui vaut le détour. Cela permet de découvrir une autre facette de l’archipel de Stockholm qu’il serait dommage de manquer.

👍 Had a very enjoyable and smooth trip touring the smaller waterways and canals from Stockholm to Sandhamn. The 8 hour trip with a 2 hour stop flew by in no time.

The trip was guided in English and Swedish. The information and stories were informative and interesting.

The waterways, houses, plants, birds islands are so beautiful. Although it was a very hot Summer day, the coolness of the waves and seawind made sitting on deck or below at the restaurant pleasant.

My lunch of Swedish meatballs was filling but the meat and potatoes were dry and hard.

Fika was more rewarding with a warm cinnamon bun and brewed coffee. Service staff at the restaurant was jovial and attentive.

The boat was clean throughout the journey, including the single toilet.

When visiting Stockholm it’s not that easy to see the outside of the archipelago since most tours are staying inside just around the city. It took us two days to get the full picture which agency is going where. We decided to get the Stromma grand canal tour that starts at berth 10 around 9:45 daily. It takes you to Sandhamn in about 2:30h with a 2 hours stay and back again arriving around 17:45. The beauty on this tour is that I takes you to really small, narrow and shallow pathways and that you get information all along. The scenery is just beautiful. The downside is, that there are just a few seats upstairs and most of them in the sun. Downstairs half of the seats a reserved for paid lunch guest and there is no way to go outside to take photos except for the very front deck which is only available in shallow canals and blocked on sea passage. Staff is very friendly, you may ask any question. Restrooms are clean as well. If you wanna stay longer on Sandhamn island, better go with the Stromma Cinderella boat that has multiple rides per day about the same price. If you wanna see more of the archipelago then go for the Thousand Island tour (11h, expensive but including lunch). If you wanna travel faster then go for the larger ferry boats operated by Vaxholm. On a hot day, make sure to get sun protection since there is no roof or any other protection at the waiting line at the berth nor at Sandholm port.

Als sardientjes in een blik in de boot naar Sandhamn! Wat een benauwde bedoeling. Het was rennen voor een gunstige plaats en ook op dek opgepropt. Echt afrader! Gewone veerpont en bus terug nemen!

Nicht ganz billig - aber eine Fahrt bis nach Sandhamn verschafft einen wirklich tollen Eindruck über Stockholms Schärengarten! Man durchquert breite Seen, schmale Schilfpassagen und von der Eiszeit hinterlassene Kanäle.
An Bord gibt's Kanelbullar, Kaffee und Kaltgetränke und die Reiseleiterin erzählt (auf schwedisch und englisch) unendlich viel über die Gegend und das schwedische Leben.
Sollte man unbedingt machen!

Vi havde en dejlig 8-timers sejltur tur/retur ad Strømma-kanalen til Sandø. 2 timer til at gå rundt på øen. Dejlig regnbueørred på vejen hjem og god vin.
Smuk tur.
