I personally think that the building is pretty old and there is sometimes not enough place for the students, so we are forced to write our tests in the gym sitting on our knees.
But it have been better with it since they have built new rooms for the students.

I like it but it’s getting old and the teachers can be biased. Very fun school too but the walls of the lunch room are missing, like did they sell it? The football pitch is also very tiny and when I asked to expand it I was told that we then wouldn’t have a place to live up in case of a fire. The football pitch is behind the school? I don’t want to get trapped behind or anything. I know there is a group in front of the school but how about we just go outside the school gates so nothing could just randomly happen to us? Super cool expensive too but the friends and some teachers do make it a bit worth it but not that worth it to be paying so much money. The school should just completely renovate and reopen later so the broken things aren’t out problem. I was told that a 30 minute break to be outside is important but we have some days without a 30 minute break, just lunch. When I told the teachers and others about it I was told that they are looking to change it in the coming years. But how does that help me? I probably won’t be here anymore at that point. Please do something about this.🙏

Worst school I had the misfortune of having to attend. 12 schools in 6 countries, I can safely say this was the worst. Shiwonda Stockfelt was a power trippy, nasty, lazy and incompetent Geography/Psychology/philosophy teacher. The type of teacher that would wheel in an archaic old tv set to play an equally old archaic documentary in lieu of actually teaching the course per state curriculum. Moreover Shiwonda Stockfelt was a bully and periodically inappropriate towards students. Anne Malmberg was a lazy, sexist and racist bureaucrat that enabled a coercive and insincere culture in the faculty. What a horrible place.

I'm a student in the Natural Sciences programme so I'll say my opinion only about it, teachers are very good and you know that they're experienced from the first lesson they give you, the school itself is a bit small especially in the area where most of the students sit, toilets are facing the other wall of the small corridor where everyone is sitting which for me personally feels kind of embarrassing to even wash my hands there, I don't want to talk about how students are since each group differs each year, we have a school board where students have a say and it was actually effective when our classroom needed the school municipal to change the calendar. School food is just okay, sometimes I feel like it's inedible but I guess that's because of my personal taste. The school counselor is quite new to the job but she was still helpful when I needed her, but there is still a problem with the school being small, s we need to go somewhere else when we have our Modern languages lessons

i liked it! i made quite a lot of friends and for the most part, the teachers were nice and did a good job teaching. distance learning spring 2020 was a mess, but i don't blame the school for it. (-1 one point for that one, sorry). - Lara <3

Now, this is one thing I did not think I would do but google popped it up for me and I felt the need to accurately describe this school from my point of view. so if you disagree, It is definitely acceptable and understandable.

This school presents itself as the small school, building up the community and a family in a sense. I studied here until 2016 and my experience was a bit different than I expected. I only know about the IB programme, not the others so keep that in mind since I only review this programme here.

let us begin with the positives here.
the school has some fantastic teachers. not all, but there are those that you know care for the students. she is to be fair, the best mentor one could have when looking back at it. which I appreciate and so does the other students.

there was or maybe still is a physics teacher which would try to bring out the best of every student and set up meetings if he felt one was falling behind and express his concern is a positive way making students want to improve.

there is a strong sense of family in this school and traditions. which makes the student feel that they belong.

but there is also a downside to this school and here is my opinion:

teachers, there were teachers in this school that favored students in a way that was so obvious that they looked down on students not reaching their standards. if for instance, A bad performing classmate asked a question, they would respond "read the book" but if a better student would ask the same question word by word, the teacher would provide a complete set of solution and description. this has been proven.

another issue would be that the school, in my time of IB did not tell us about the expenses. we went to the second year before the school dropped the fees on us and we were confused. after asking some first-year students they were also concerned since they did not know about these fees. I don't say no one did know, I say a lot of the students did not now. now they have probably changed that but the IB cost money in Sweden where education is free so future students, now you know if you didn't.

Although some might feel that this review is untrue to the school, this is what I experienced and I would not recommend it.

I do not review this as a hard-working student of the school, I was one that struggled so this is from my point of view as a student that was having troubles in studying. In my mind, teachers could do a better job of supporting students. not all, since there are fantastic teachers there, but some.
hence my 2-star review.
